Pricing Policy
ContinueVault is early. The people who subscribe now are taking a chance on something they can't fully evaluate yet — there isn't a long track record to point to, the feature set is still growing, and the company is small. That's worth something to us. This page explains how we treat that.
The founding-member commitment
If you subscribe to ContinueVault Pro while we are still in our founding period, your subscription price is locked in for as long as you remain subscribed. When we raise prices for new customers — and we will, as the product grows — you stay at the price you signed up at.
Today, that price is $19 per month for Pro.
What "locked in" actually means
Locked in means three concrete things:
-
Your monthly price won't go up. When ContinueVault raises Pro pricing for new customers, your invoice stays at your founding rate.
-
It applies as long as your subscription is active. If you stay subscribed continuously, your price stays where it is — month after month, year after year. If a payment fails — an expired or declined card, for example — you have a 30-day grace period to update your billing without losing your founding rate. We only treat the founding rate as ended if the subscription lapses past that grace window.
-
The commitment is to your subscription, not your account. If you cancel and later come back, you'll be subject to the then-current price for new subscriptions. We'd love to keep you, but we can't preserve a founding rate through a gap in subscription — that would make the commitment unmanageable.
What's included stays included
The features that are part of your Pro plan today stay part of your Pro plan. We won't move existing features behind a higher tier. If we add genuinely new capabilities later — significantly larger storage, advanced features, team-scale capabilities — those new capabilities may carry new pricing for everyone, founding members included. But the core Pro experience you signed up for is yours at your founding price.
When the founding window closes
The founding window is open until we decide it isn't. We don't have a fixed date or subscriber count to announce — we'd rather close it when the product reaches a milestone that genuinely makes "founding" mean something, than pick an arbitrary number now.
What we commit to:
- We will announce the close of the founding window with reasonable advance notice — at least two weeks — so anyone who wants to subscribe under founding terms has time to decide.
- We will publish the close on this page, on the pricing page, and via email to anyone who has signed up for ContinueVault updates.
- Once the window closes, the price for new Pro subscriptions will be the new standard rate. Existing founding members keep their founding rate per the commitment above.
If we ever discontinue Pro
Unlikely, but worth being explicit: if ContinueVault ever discontinues the Pro tier in its current form, all Pro subscribers — founding or not — will receive at least 60 days advance notice along with a clear path to export every conversation, thread, and piece of extracted knowledge from their vault.
This is part of the broader commitment that your AI history is yours. See our Trust page for the full policy on data ownership and export.
