# ContinueVault

ContinueVault is AI memory and conversation continuity for serious AI work.

It saves AI conversations from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Perplexity, and Le Chat, extracts working context — decisions, facts, constraints, preferences, open threads — and makes that context available to future AI sessions across platforms and accounts.

## What ContinueVault is NOT

ContinueVault is not a cryptocurrency vault, password manager, seed phrase store, inheritance vault, digital asset locker, or blockchain platform. It is an AI conversation continuity tool.

## Key concepts

- **Session.** A session is one saved AI chat.
- **Thread.** A thread is a chain of chats that ContinueVault keeps connected. When a user continues a thread, the new chat joins that chain.
- **Save, not keep.** ContinueVault saves conversations you choose to preserve. It does not passively record or monitor.
- **Continuity of mind, not continuity of chat.** The goal is preserving working context — what you decided, what you learned, what you were doing — not chat logs.
- **Cross-platform by design.** Save from one AI, continue in another. Your working context is portable across sessions, models, platforms, and accounts.
